DEPARTMENT OF BCA
The Department of BCA was established in the year 2010 and offers various programs of study related to computing, information technology, software design, and application. Our programs involve inter-departmental, multi-institutional, and inter-institutional collaboration. The department has 10 qualified faculty members and attracts graduate students from all over Tamil Nadu.
The department is equipped with a state-of-the-art Computer Lab that enhances the teaching–learning process. The latest software has been installed to support both faculty and students in their project work.
Our aim is to impart knowledge and enlighten students in all avenues pertaining to Information Technology, provide a strong foundation for the IT industry, and inculcate professional excellence, logical thinking, and analytical ability through application-oriented education. We also focus on embedding ethical values in our students.
There are tremendous job opportunities for computer graduates. They may pursue careers in the Government sector, Nationalized Banks, Corporate Sectors, Front Office Management, and more. In the private sector, Software MNCs are the prime recruiters, along with web hosting firms, the IT sector, and the electronics industry.
